Changing the Maximize, Minimize, and Close buttons

Changing the Maximize, Minimize, and Close buttons

Postby mduvall on Fri Jun 15, 2012 7:56 pm

I'm using Mint 13 with Mate with the Mint-Z, and I love the look and feel. However, I really don't like the "- + x" that are used instead of actual buttons for the window maximize, minimize, and close functionality. Is there any way I can keep the Mint-Z theme but just change those buttons to something more meaty and substantial? I've found I'm able to get those buttons with other themes, but then I have to give up Mint-Z.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Nevermind. Just found out where to change it. Under Appearance Preferences->Customize->Window Border
