Scrollbars with arrows and two panels

Scrollbars with arrows and two panels

Postby worik on Thu Apr 26, 2012 11:58 pm

Friends

I hope these questions have not been answered, but if so I could not find them.

I really really want the litle line by line thumbs on my scrollbars (the little arrows at the top and bottom). Is there any way of restoring them?

Also back in the good old days before Gnome got the new religion I had two gnome panels. One on top and one on the bottom of my screen. It was so long ago I orget how I set them up but for comfort's sake I would really like them back. Can I do that?

cheers

about 2 panels
right click on the panel you currently have and then select "New Panel"
then by right click on that new panel and going to properties u can change where it is.
also u can remove and add applets on panel by right clicking on it

about ur other issue. u should try to find some other theme probably or theme engine.
check gnome-look.org for some gtk2 themes.

About the arrows, there are about a hundred and counting gtk3 themes available, why don't you just change to one of those that have arrows?
Thank you for this thread. That’s all I can say. You most definitely have made this forum into something special. You clearly know what you are doing, you’ve covered so many bases. Thanks!
