Application Background Color

Application Background Color

Postby jamvaru on Sat Sep 15, 2012 1:47 pm

I noticed that there seems to be no option for choosing the background color of application space

Funny, though, Libre Office works; meaning, it is the greyscale I desired and selected in the colorchooser

Ah, it is using the color selection from 'input boxes' - so, that is a plus, as it is one of my main apps

A good example of uncontrollable color would be the color chooser itself, actually the whole 'Customize Theme' app

Each tab has a white background, though the color tab fades to grey at the bottom, my window color selection, 50% grey

I'm going for a 66% grey look for the application background, if that is possible

Is there a config file I can edit? Or ... might the next version of color chooser include application background space? ;] ;] ;]

anything is helpful

(using LM 13-64 MATE now as primary linux install; testing over 8 partitions.. very good against all others)

yes, exactly; but there is no selection for 'application background space' ... the whitespace in the color chooser, for example
