Mate 1.4 backport?
Will Mate 1.4 be backported to LInux Mint 13 Mate or will we need to install version 14 of Mint Mate?

Re: Mate 1.4 backport?
I think the improvements done to the Linux Mint developed software (Cinnamon, Software Manager, etc.) will be backported to Linux Mint 13. I'm not sure software developed by others, such as the MATE project, will be backported. I doubt it.
Installing MATE 1.4 in Linux Mint 13 is easy though, and trouble free for most users: http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.p ... 15#p624015
