Nautilus Defaults When Closing <SOLVED>

I'm running Mint 13 with MATE. I open Nautilus and resize the screen to how I want it for column sizes. After I close it and then come back in, Nautilus has returned to a default screen and column size and is not the way I resized it. Nautilus 2.28 did not do this. Is there a solution to this apparent problem? Otherwise, Mint 13 and MATE run fine. Thanks.
