Problem: Mint-X-Metal. And how to change/set a GTK theme ?

Hi everybody !

First, I am french, sorry if my english is bad.

I think that my problem is simple: With the GTK theme "Mint-X-Metal", the texts in windows are white since the last upgrade. But it is too difficult to read on a gray background :/
So, it's due to the Mint-X-Metal controls (Appearance preferences>Theme>Customize>Controls) because when I select an other control, have no problem, and it is impossible to solve this problem in "Colours".
There is a screen capture with 4 different apps runned: https://www.dropbox.com/s/njwhjlkx6ftupnn/Monbureau.png

How can I solve the problem please ? And how can I change or set (with a config file for example) the "Mint-X-Metal" control (Appearance preferences>Theme>Customize>Controls) ?

Thanks for your future help and sorry again for my very bad english (probably the worst ).
Good night :)

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

You can edit the gtkrc file in Mint Metal folder. It should be located in either home/.themes or in usr/share/themes. Change #FFFFFF to another more readable color.
