I have been using linux mint 14 cinnamon on my main pc and laptop for a while now and love it. My sister both have switched to mint 14 cinnamon as well
.I recently Installed a fresh copy of linux Mint 14 MATE on an old Pentium 4 Box. It installed successfully and is running fine except for the fact that some icons are really bright, discoloured, missing, and more. I have a bunch of screenshots in the link below:

I am thinking that it is a video driver problem. The card was working fine running XP Pro and and older version of Xfce. The card is a Geforce 4000MX and I found a specifications sheet here: http://www.cnet.com/graphics-cards/msi- ... 72711.html
