What's up everybody ...
So I have just installed LM14 with MATE and I'm generally very impressed. I'm running three monitors in portrait mode, and I'm seeing a dead zone of maybe 200-400 pixels. When I go into Monitor configuration, the little widget to drag and arrange the monitors, won't bring the monitors flush against each other.
Any suggestions about how I can get rid of this dead zone so the desktops are flush?
I've got a single Sapphire Toxic 5950 card.
Thanks!!

yoyoyo ...
for future reference, I installed the Catalyst Control Center
$ sudo aptitude install fglrx
The catalyst control center now appeared in my LM control center, but I wasn't able to start it as su, so I went to terminal again:
$ sudo amdcccle
And I was able to tweak the monitors until they're perfect. For future reference!!

You are probably using a HDMI adapter on that monitor, and it was under-scanning.ether_joe wrote:And I was able to tweak the monitors until they're perfect. For future reference!!

Actually, I've got a triple-monitor setup, 2 hdmi, and one displayport. I'm guessing it was the displayport.
Thanks
