MATE Desktop stopped creating images preview...

Hi,

Suddendly, my MATE Desktop stopped creating the previews of images.

So I have old images on desktop with previews, and the new ones with only the icon of image and no preview.

Size limit for preview was 10 Mb, images are about 4Mb each. I moved the limit to 100 Mb but no luck.

Also, preview of PDF documents or other stuff are not created.,

Any help?

so you're saying ONLY new images don't generate previews? How you updated MATE lately? Which MATE/Caja are you using?

Just made an apt-get update / apt-get upgrade as usual some time ago...

It's MATE from Linux Mint Mate edition 15, the 32 bit version... mate-about says MATE Desktop Environment 1.6.0

PC is a netbook, MSI U100 with 2GB of ram, and 128Gb SSD disk...

uname -a says:

and, yes, only new images don't generate previews :/
