Hi all,
How do I change font characteristics in the panel? For example, the font type, whether to be bold typeset, etc...
in the screenshot provided, I'd like to make the 'Start' and clock fonts bold.
Thanks in advance.
Baldrick.

Not sure how to change the Start font but for the clock have a look here http://www.linuxandlife.com/2013/01/cus ... -mate.html
I've got this set up on Mint 16 with the Mate desktop and it works fine for me.
Here's a copy of my gtkr-2.0 file which is slightly different to the one in the tutorial, font type and size, that kind of thing.
style "my-panel-clock"
{
fg[NORMAL] = "#ffffff"
font_name = "DejaVu Sans Bold 10"
}
widget "*.clock-applet-button.*" style "my-panel-clock"
