Installed Mint 17-MATE, 32b, then d/l and installed the XFCE and LXDE desktops. How can I get back to MATE? With the 2 panel applets on taskbar, I can shift() from LXDE to XFCE, but I want to get back to booting with MATE. I will then try to delete the other 2. Appreciate any help on this. Thanks a lot.

Log out. That will take you to the login screen. Click on the little gear icon to switch to Mate. Then log in.
