Mint 17.1 64bit
Sometimes when I boot, my usb drives are mounted as ro as a normal user.
su can r/w to them and they are mounted rw according to mount.
A reboot usually fixes this but is a PITA when you just want to copy something to a usb quickly.

Re: usb drives mounted RO
No one else having this problem?
Re: usb drives mounted RO
hairybiker I always right click and eject my usb before I reboot or take them out . Not sure this is still in effect but was always told to eject them before rebooting or just taking them out.
Could corrupt them was what I was told.
