Good. Now you have the repository for Bumblebee. Let's go with the rest.

From the instructions page:
Code: Select all
sudo apt-get update

Install Bumblebee using the proprietary nvidia driver:

Code: Select all
sudo apt-get install bumblebee bumblebee-nvidia

Reboot or re-login

Thank you so much! Works like a charm! :D

Should I configure Bumblebee somehow?

Oh dude... I was so worried!!!!
I thought something terrible had happened to your Linux Mint... and it was my fault!!!

I think you don't have to do anything else to use Bumblebee.

I just installed Lisa and cinnamon on my new alienware laptop yesterday and was pulling my hair out when the the interface defaulted to this classic two panel theme that I couldn't edit for the life of me. Then I installed bumblebee as esteban1uy suggested, and I'm back in business! Thanks a lot, bud.

I followed the steps described here to set up my nvidia card and use bumblebee and cinnamon, It didn't work, the screen just got all distorted.

I uninstalled bumblebee and installed the nvidia drivers from nvidia site and the followed the steps in this tutorial: http://zeronteproject.tk/contents/content.php?topic=Linux&postid=13.

Hope it helps :)
