[SOLVED] Editing default Cinnamon Menu

Postby VoodooLoveDog on Tue Apr 24, 2012 3:11 pm

I'm sure this is fairly simple, but for some reason I can't find how to do it. On the left-hand side of the 'Menu' there are icons for common tasks (e.g. Firefox, Cinnamon Settings, Logout, etc....) How do I remove one of those icons? I want to replace Firefox with Chromium. I've found I can drag and add icons to it, but I don't know how to remove them.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Find Firefox or whichever icon you want to remove from the left side 'favourites', in the regular part of the menu. Firefox is under 'Internet'. Right click and select 'Remove from favourites'.

Removing the extension as well as changing the URL worked for me.
