This is across all my desktops (Cinammon, Gnome 3) , some of the apps that I use, when I hover the house over the choice I want, it's actually off on which menu is selected.
For instance, If I hover the mouse over File menu, it will actually show that the Edit menu is selected.. and when I click it selects the Edit menu.
It's super annoying, on popup menus I have to know to actually hover completely off the menu or it will not select anything.
Anyone have any ideas or have seen this problem?

Looking at your other posts, this could be an issue with vmware?
