How to add on the menu bar

Hi
I want to add to the menu bar an apllet for a program, say an icon to start seahaven.

There is just possibility to add or remove applet from the proposed list.
I mean I want to complete this list by icons for my own programs.

Not sure if I understood you... Are you trying to add a launcher to the existing menu? Just right-click on the menu applet and you have an option to edit it. There you can create/modify launcher as you wish.
