Running cinnamon DE in Maya, how do I adjust the size and type of the font used in the panel?

They are defined by a theme, so there's no easy way yet (as of Cinnamon 1.4).

1. Find yourself a Cinnamon theme that you like.
2. Place it into your ~/.themes directory.
3. Search through the theme's files (most probably cinnamon.css) for the properties named "font-family", "font-size", "font-weight", etc.
4. Change them as you like.
5. (Quoting this little tutorial) To see what your theme looks like after you made changes to it you can either select another theme and reselect your theme in Cinnamon Settings, or restart Cinnamon by pressing “Alt F2″ and typing “r”.

Thanks for the advice, Monsta. I hadn't realized that the menu font for different themes was different, since I thought font was a special setting. I found the theme files where this is controlled, but I also found a theme with a font/size I like and I'll stick with it for now.
