Won't shutdown from Cinnamon Desktop

I have a strange problem...I have switchable graphics working (ATI 6490/Intel), but darned if it doesn't shutdown without hanging everytime. if I log out first, then shut down it's ok....I see something when it hangs mentioning fglrx driver....hmmmm....anyone had this problem?

I'm going to switch to Intel and try it now....

To follow up: I had to switch to MATE desktop and all works perfectly fine. I'll check back as Cinnamon matures :)
