Hello,
I installed the newest version of Linux Mint. Then, I installed a graphic driver using the "Additional Drivers" menu. When I tried to install the first entry, "ATI/AMD proprietary FGLRX graphics driver (post-release updates)", the dialog frozed and then the desktop crashed. But after a reboot and another try using the second entry, "ATI/AMD proprietary FGLRX graphics driver", it succeeded. After this, I used amdccle to activate dual monitor. It worked, but the panel is on the wrong monitor. So I tried to place the panel on my other monitor using the "Monitore"-Dialog in system settings.
Well, it looks like this was a mistake: From now on, everytime I log in, the following error dialog appears: "Could not apply the stored configuration for monitors - Error on line 1 char 1: Document was empty or contained only whitespace". The dialog itself doesn't use my choosen GTK theme, it instead it looks like this: http://s7.directupload.net/images/120731/r9tnzuk8.png (Sorry, I tried to attach the picture, but the system says "The image file you tried to attach is invalid."). So this is my first problem: What can I do to let the dialog disappears?
Second problem: After I tried to switch the monitor for the panel, some Cinnamon themes are broken. For example: http://s1.directupload.net/images/120731/3op4fwen.png - How can I fix this problem?
3rd problem: As you can see on the pictures, the names of the files on the desktop are black, so I can't read them on dark backgrounds. I couldn't find any options to change the font color - So, how can I fix this issue?
