right-click extract and add to archive on Mint 13 Cinnamon
When I was using Mate, I could right-clik on a file & there'll e a menu whether to add the file to archive and if I right-click on an archive, I could select to extract it. Now as I changed to cinnamon, I don't see the menu anymore and I had to start the archive manager and do the operations there.

Thanks for the reply. But how do I check for the version?

My Cinnamon version is 1.4.0.
Re: right-click extract and add to archive on Mint 13 Cinnam
I'm using Mint 13 Mate and I have the same issue in Konqueror. I would like to have an "Add to Archive" and "Extract..." options on the right-click menu. I see that Caja has "Compress" and "Extract Here" options, so maybe I need to dig into the Konqueror help files?

I know that Cinnamon 2.0 has the nemo-fileroller package, which adds the "Compress" and "Extract Here" items to the menu.
