Problem: No Sound Applet installed in Panel Mint 14

Just finished a brand New Mint 14 Cinnamon 32 bit installation.

Problem:

No Sound Applet installed in bottom panel.

There is just a "blank" space where the applet should be, and Cinnamon Settings says the applet is installed. (Invisible?)

How to fix this?

EDIT:

I clicked Troubleshoot / restart Cinnamon, and now the sound applet appears.

When I restarted the computer, the applet is missing again.
