Desktop icons and setting not working ?!

Using Linux Mint 14 cinnamon
and after today update wierd stuff started to happen with desktop icons and settings.
Sometimes everything is OK, but when I logout or restart icons completely gone or
every icon is shown, even the ones I did not choose to show.
So I did go to settings to remove them ,but not responding...

How to fix this ?

Somehow the bug from official update
installs nautilus browser alonh side nemo and they start up and make conflict.
So I erased the nautilus ,that is no more used in Linux mnt 14.

So far is good.

PLEASE DEVELOPERS
FIX THIS BUG !!!!

Same thing happened to me but I do not have nautilus installed
