Cannot Get Cinnamon Desktop

Cannot Get Cinnamon Desktop

I just installed Linux Mint 13 (Maya). Initially I could get the Cinnamon desktop but after update and reboot, I can only get Gnome. I selected Cinnamon at the login screen,
but I still get Gnome. Any ideas how I can fix this?
