Icons disappear

Whenever a login, app icons, the "gear" icon besides "menu" and some applets icos completely disappear.

In the case of the applets, they appear while I highlight them.

Everything works fine when I restart cinnamon, but only until i logout or reboot.

I have reseted the settings too.


Any ideas?



Edit: Now there are weird colored squares instead of icons, until I restart. WTH.

I've experienced some strange behaviors with icons on the Cinnamon panel. One thing that settled things down: Click Cinnamon Settings > Panel > Deselect "Panel Edit Mode". It seems Cinnamon doesn't like it being selected on an ongoing basis on some systems & certainly mine. I'm a newbie so that's all I can suggest. Go well.
