Wrong Connection Icon

Not exactly sure where to put this thread, but I think it's an issue with Cinnamon. If it belongs in the networking section, then by all means, move it there.

Sometimes when I connect to a wifi network, my connection icon will show the wired network icon. The tooltip also only says "Connected to the network" I remember it sowing the network name and the signal strength as a percentage.

The output of inxi:
Code: Select all
inxi -NS
System:    Host: Bigj231 Kernel: 3.2.0-36-generic x86_64 (64 bit) Desktop: Gnome Distro: Linux Mint 13 Maya
Network:   Card-1: Atheros AR8151 v2.0 Gigabit Ethernet driver: atl1c
           Card-2: Atheros AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express) driver: ath9k

I should say that this started within the last 2 weeks. I do have backports enabled, so I'm on cinnamon 1,6 instead of 1,4.
