I really like Linux Mint Cinnamon, but it's slow and laggy. When I write the letters don't feel instant, the same is with clicking on objects etc.

8GB DDR3 1600MHz

90GB Corsair Force 3 SSD
Mint 14 Cinnamon x64 updated
I must point out that there are no problems on Arch Linux with Cinnamon, that I have installed on my spare HDD, witch is strange. Arch is snappy and fast.
3D drivers are enabled and working by default.

It seams yesterday's Mesa update alleviated the problem, if not eliminated it. Time will show.
