I am running Linux Mint 14 Cinnamon 32-bit edition with two monitors.
I would like to enable mapping the location of newly-opened windows to the location of the cursor.
It seems that the positioning of windows does depend on what monitor the cursor is, but it's not centering the window around the cursor.
Also, some applications (like Firefox and Liferea) open only on one monitor. If I position the cursor on the other monitor, the window might appear there for a second but then it immediately moves to the other monitor. Other applications, like Nemo, don't have that problem.
Does anyone have an idea?
Thanks in advance!
