Up to now (LM 14 Cinnamon) it has been easy to find and install any number of layouts for different languages. I need to install/choose one for German but cannot find the usual choices anywhwere? Can anyone give me a steer on this? I can't believe the facility has been dropped.

Open Keyboard Layout from the menu, go to the Layouts tab. Add it there.

Many thanks, xenopeek. I thought it might have something to do with that area but I didn't persevere. Let's hope these various settings are better described in 15. Thanks again.
