Cinnamon swapped to Mate?

Hello everyone. I installed Linux Mint 64-bit Cinnamon edition. It worked fine after installation, but after a few reboots, it suddenly swapped to Mate. I logged out and yes, indeed, Cinnamon is selected. If I try to do I get:
or just :
I am on kernel 3.5.0-17 and have an AMD Radeon HD 6670 graphics card.
Anyone know what the problem is?
Code: Select all
sudo cinnamon --replace
Code: Select all
(cinnamon:2539): Gdk-ERROR **: The program 'cinnamon' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadRequest (invalid request code or no such operation)'.
(Details: serial 131 error_code 1 request_code 155 minor_code 66)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the GDK_SYNCHRONIZE environment
variable to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
