Just switched to Mint from Ubuntu.
I'm used to the Gnome classic layout in Ubuntu.
I've got the classic 2 panels (top and bottom) after going to settings -> panel -> panel layout
But how do I get the open program tabs to appear in the bottom panel/toolbar rather that the top panel?
Thanks, Russ
How do I get the open program tabs into the bottom toolbar?

Somewhere on your panels you will see a little arrow icon. Press this and turn on Panel Edit Mode. The different zones on your panels should change colors depending on the theme that you are using. While Panel Edit Mode is active you can drag and drop applets to any area. Just grab your window list applet and move it to the area you want it on the bottom panel. When your done just turn the Edit Mode back off.
