Cinnamon crashes after update on Debian Wheezy.

Hi, I recently updated cinnamon (from 1.6.x to 1.8.8 ) on Debian Wheezy, and when I try to log in, a clean wallpaper shows up and after that a windows which says that cinnamon just crashed and it couldn't be repaired and I have to log out and try again (or something similar, I don't remember exactly). From Gnome Classic I tried to run cinnamon and then I got error like this one:

I googled that some people experienced simillar problem. I updated gir1.2-networkmanager-1.0 but it didn't resolve the problem.

In cinnamon-settings I disabled 'Network' (it launches nm-applet) but it also didn't help.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

PS. Is there a cinnamon specific log file?

it's a know problem regarding LMDE. the newest UP/wheezy should not update their cinnamon. if you want to use newest cinnamon the best way is following testing or wait until next UP comes.

So, you tell me that with jessie there is no problem with newest Cinnamon? Sorry, but I think I don't understand your response in 100%.
