Minimizing To The Panel>

Post by tinker123 »

Linux Mint 14 64 bit
Cinnamon

I have one panel, at the top of my screen, with the window list applet installed on the panel.

When I minimize an application, I don't see an icon for the minimized and running instance in my panel.

Am I supposed to in Cinnamon? Can I make Cinnamon do that?

Thank much

Steve

Yes, the "Cinnamon Window List" applet should show you a list of open windows--even when these aren't minimized. I'd suggest resetting your Cinnamon settings to the default. You can do so by clicking the ^ icon in the status icon area of your panel, selecting Troubleshoot, then Restore all settings to default. It will restore all Cinnamon settings, so panel and theme.
