how to control print screen action?

Postby geoffm on Tue Feb 18, 2014 9:34 am

When I hit Print Screen, instead of copying the desktop image in the clipboard as expected, is saves a file with an extremely long filename in ~/Pictures.
I would like to customize this action, for exmple put it in ~/Pictures/screenshot, change the filename pattern, or copy it to the clipboard. Can't find where.
I tried creating a custom keyboard shortcut for shutter -f and assigning it to PrntScr but it still uses the system's default print screen function.

Make your Shutter shortcut Ctl/PrintScreen then it will work. I does for me anyway.
