HI all,
I hope this is in the right forum. Please move accordingly.
I'm recently experiencing some bizarre behavior with my file browser. I open it via the panel icon, select and open a file, say a video or pdf, spend some time doing whatever with that file, but while I'm not looking the file browser vanishes! The window is closing without any apparent reason. I haven't made any changes, that I'm aware of, that would cause this. I'm running Mint 16 64-bit with Cinnamon. Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Re: file browser window closing for no apparent reason
You could try opening the file browser (nemo) in terminal and look for errors there.
I had this problem and couldn't figure it out so I just reinstalled mint. I think the problem has to do with something recently done (by you) to the operating system.

Re: file browser window closing for no apparent reason
Would this have anything to do with graphics driver? Or possibly Dropbox installation?

Yeah, maybe Dropbox.
