[Solved]Window border theming?

Post by Ru1138 »

I'm trying to theme the window border color. I have a copy of the Mint-X folder in my home directory and I think I have to change one or both of the Metacity XML files. But I'm tripped up by several things.

1. Which XML file should I change? metacity-theme-1.xml or metacity-theme-3.xml?

2. Which part(s) of the XML files should I change?

3. What controls should I change as well?

I tried checking for a topic like this earlier but couldn't find any. If anyone has an answer to my questions, feel free to tell me.

Actually cinnamon uses the metacity-theme-3.xml, so thats the one that you want to modify.
When I give opinions, they are my own. Not necessarily those of any other Linux Mint developer or the Linux Mint project as a whole.
