Hi everybody, first I'd like to say I'm new in here, but very curious and interested about almost everything (GNU/Linux especially), so you will see me very frequently in here for messing a ~little~ too much with my system...
Now I'm suffering with cinnamon, it works perfecly, except it don't let me change desktop backgrounds, themes, applets, desklets, etc... It's just stuck with the default configuration. It's nice and beautiful, but I want to customise things
When I open the cinnamon-settings window everything seens normal, but none of the cinnamon related configurations work and it crashes everytime I click on the applets button. I don't know how to fix this, already reinstalled cinnamon, even after purging it, but the problem continues. Anyone knows what it may be?
Thanks, Lucas

I'm almost sure that the problem is with some cinnamon configuration and not the hardware, since it still works, but stuck with the default config
