<SOLVED> Loading Screen Says Ubuntu 17.1
I installed 17.1 Cinnamon when it first came out and it has been working beautifully I'm a convert from Xubuntu. Today I noticed something strange when I rebooted my computer the loading screen says Ubuntu 17.1. I had uninstalled Cowsay just before I rebooted but would not think that would affect it. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Try installing Cowsay again. You should never remove software that is included with any distribution, not just Linux Mint. But if you want to, search Google if there are any side effects.

Thanks for the reply ibrahimansari. I reinstalled Cowsay then rebooted and it had no effect. Same problem.
I did a little more searching and found that uninstalling Cowsay also removes mint-artwork-common--so reinstalling mint-artwork-common fixes the problem. Thanks all
