[Solved] How to prevent pop-up windows got fixed...

I use Scribus in Ubuntu 11.10 with Cinnamon, and some dialogs get stuck on the top bar of the program, and I can not work on the layout.

This annoying Gnome 3 feature is called "modal dialog attachment", and was created to solve a nonexistent problem. 
Command to fix this bad idea:
gconftool-2 --set --type=bool /desktop/cinnamon/windows/attach_modal_dialogs false
