Sorry to bump, but since both actions are pretty much standardly mouse-driven elsewhere, It's quite possible that I have only overlooked a setting to enable them, but in that case, I would very much like for someone to point me in the right direction.

If one or neither is (are) actually possible, whom should I talk to in order to get to work implementing it?

Sorry to bump again, but it would be nice if at least one developer would say either "Capital idea, good Sir, we'll get right on it" *or* "Idea noted - not a priority right now".

Obviously, I would like answer no. 1 better than no. 2, but either way, I would like any sort of answer over this silence treatment.
