Hey guys,
I cannot find a way how to play the startup sound! Everything is setted up correctly (I guess). This is what I did:
- sudo apt-get install ubuntu-sounds
Than I add a new startup application, as it was not there by default, (system > preferences > startup applications) with the following options:
Name: GNOME Login Sound
Command: /usr/bin/canberra-gtk-play --id="desktop-login" --description="GNOME Login"
Comment: Plays a sound whenever you log in
Tried also to change "desktop-login" with another .ogg file, nothing is working
I also installed the gnome-session-canberra package with no luck but the sound card is working correctly
Any Idea?
Many Thanks in advance
