New "Antigue" theme won't show.

Postby Jacques on Fri Jun 22, 2012 5:13 pm

Hi guys,

I unpacked this theme ... ent=128667 and dumped the folder into /usr/share/themes but it won't show up for selection in LXappearance or through "advanced settings". How come? I use the classic gnome desktop and Cinnamon.

Hope you can give me a pointer as I just switched from KDE, so I'm a bit of a Gnome newbie.

GTK2 themes are not compatible with Cinnamon or Gnome 3. You have to use gtk3 and cinnamon themes. Also you do not need to put them in /usr/share, you can put them in ~/.themes
