gnome-shell tweak error

Postby ambongo on Sun Jul 29, 2012 4:13 pm

I just installed Mint and the gnome-shell and am trying to personalize the theme. However, whenever I activate the 'User Theme' extension the advanced settings window won't open. Instead it loads for a few seconds and then disappears. Consistently enough, when I turn off the extension the window loads normally. I've tried searching google as well as restarting the shell and the computer making sure to load up the Gnome shell.

Thanks

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Yep, this is a known conflict between the Tweak Tool and User Themes extension in GNOME 3.4, as discussed here: https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/19/user-themes/

This should fix it: http://askubuntu.com/questions/127123/c ... -gnome-3-4
GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L LGA 775, Xeon 3.0 Ghz Core 2 Duo, 4 GB DDR2-800, EVGA 8800GT, WD Caviar 250 GB SATA-2

Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, Crunchbang Waldorf, Mint 13 w/Cinnamon, Elementary Luna Beta, Puppy
