Anyone know how to theme the "Mint Main Menu?"

This question is with regards to the "Mint Main Menu."

I do apologize (moderators) if I've placed this in the wrong section...

I need to locate where it's stored first lol, but I'm sure I'll find it. Anyways, is the Main Menu themed by an XML file? or CSS? Both? I haven't been able to find a tutorial on how to do this yet... kind of irritating.

Many thanks to anyone who can point me in the right direction!

Bring up the Themes from the Settings option and look for the active one, not the Other settings option.
The active one will be located in the /usr/share/themes/themename/cinnamon

The filename will me the themename.css

Obviously it is a CSS type file.

Good luck.

Depends on which of the many different versions of Mint you use. There's more than one.

This'll work in Cinnamon (I'm using 1.6).

Right click on your panel. Settings > Themes.

If you don't like any of the default themes there are a bunch more here:
http://cinnamon-spices.linuxmint.com/themes

Download the theme and place them in:
~/.themes

I'm using the downloaded Nadia dark theme. I really like the transparencies and sleek look.
