Hello, I am actually a fedora user and have been using Cinnamon for a while. I just upgraded to Cinnamon 1.8 and have found that using GNOME's gsettings in the terminal to change some parameters no longer works. Specifically, changing the wallpaper. I have for many years used gsettings to have a very nice wallpaper slideshow, however with the new version of cinnamon, this no longer works. The code I was using is this:
- Code: Select all
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.background
has there been a replacement command for cinnamon? AKA is there a way to change the wallpaper via the terminal? I cant install any .deb wallpaper changers, and all the rpm changers use gnome.
Thanks for the help
