There are some very nice themes there!
I like the light blue "smoke" and the gold theme. Great stuff !
Mint 17 Cinnamon (64 bit), Quad core AMD A8-3870 with Radeon HD Graphics 6550D, 8GB DDR3, Ralink RT2561/RT61 802.11g PCI
Microsoft-free environment since 1996

I think that zorinos 8 dark theme is the ultimate Cinnamon theme; it is the most elegant and original theme I've ever seen that I use it on a daily basis :D Can you gmc85 make us the light version of Zorin OS 8 Cinnamon theme? i think this will rock the boat :D Below are the screenshots:

For me, the most elegant theme: Gnomishgray. Buttons of Zorin windows are very ugly.

I changed the desklet section because I don't like the black clock font and changed with Mint-X desklet section but I couldn't get rid of the black colour. the section looks like this now:

Code: Select all
/* ===================================================================
 * Desklets (desklet.js)
 * ===================================================================*/
.desklet {
   color: rgb(70,70,70);
}
.desklet-with-borders {
   border-image: url('background.png') 6;
   color: rgb(70,70,70);
   font-weight: bold;
   padding: 8px;
}
.desklet-with-borders-and-header {
   border-image: url('background.png') 6;
   color: rgb(70,70,70);
   padding: 8px;
}
.desklet-header {
   border-image: url('background.png') 11;
   font-size: 9pt;
   font-weight: bold;
   text-shadow: #eee 0px 0px 0px;
   color: rgb(70,70,70);
   padding: 8px;
}
.desklet-drag-placeholder {
   border-image: url('button-active.png') 11;
}
.xkcd-box {
   padding: 6px;
   border: 0px solid #141414;
   background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0);
   border-radius: 0px;
}

.photoframe-box {
   padding: 10px;
   border-image: url("bg-1.png") 6;
}
/* ===================================================================
 * Clock Desklet (desklet.js)
 * ===================================================================*/
.clock-desklet-label {
   color: rgb(70,70,70);
}

Hi, Zorba :wink:

I changed the desklet section because I don't like the black clock font and changed with Mint-X desklet section but I couldn't get rid of the black colour.

If you haven't found a solution yet .... try this:

For the fuzzy text in panel (for Zorin8 White cinnamon theme):

In Applets (applet.js) section:
comment out the text-shadow line like this:

Code: Select all
/*text-shadow: black 0px 0px 2px;*/

For black text in time and date desklet - change the color line to white:

Code: Select all
/* ===================================================================
 * TimeAndDate desklet
 * ===================================================================*/

.clock-container{
   color: white; /*black*/
   text-shadow: 1px 1px 2px #000;
   padding: 15px;
}

Save the file.
