This looks quite good, are you willing to share your config? :)

BTJ

of course I'm willing to share...but, it uses a set of MANY templates that would take too much room
here to list them.. :(

you are advised to download conkywx from here:

Code: Select all
https://bitbucket.org/plikhari/conkywx_pub/downloads/conkywx_2.0.0-1_all.deb

and then go here to be able to set the parameters for YOUR location, and to see all the variables you can use:

Code: Select all
https://bitbucket.org/plikhari/conkywx_pub/wiki/Home

if you need more help, therre is a great thread on the Ubuntu forums here:

Code: Select all
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1771033

be advised this is a VERY LONG thread that is now up to 1800 posts....you can skip most
of the first several pages as they are pretty old now....and the good news is that both authors
of the templates are regular visitors to that thread & are willing to help anyone...

or if you prefer, send me a PM or email

well first, create a folder then put 3 text files named at your choice in that folder...and copy the three codes on the three files...

in conky manager, clik on theme folder and go where your new conky is and select the 3 files

Thanks ... I see its Ubuntu - launchpad PPA now I know why I don't use it. :D

I use YAD [zenity] and bash scripts to do basically the same thing - other than build the conky:

Move the conky - easy: [Alt]+left click+hold and drag moves the conky:

Please, no 'sir' - just another conky nut. If you want first name basis call me Sector or S11 :D

There's more, it works the same as any other open app in a window:
  1. [Alt]+[right-click-hold] - near the centre of a window (conky) - drag to move
  2. [Alt]+[right-click-hold] - near the edge|corner of a window (conky) - drag to re-size
  3. [Alt]+[left-click-hold] - anywhere in a window (conky) - drag to move
