Hello, I am configuring Awn bar in Mate 13 RC, i like a shutdown applet in Awn bar, but does not work.
Do you know if it is possible shutdown the machine with this applet?

If this applet does not works, alternative
Do you know how I can execute the shutdown form to shutdown the computer?

The standard AWN shutdown applet works for Gnome, not Mate.

Try

Code: Select all

mate-session-save --shutdown-dialog

To make applet.

Awn Settings>Task Manager>ADD =
(browse for icon you like, double click icon to change)
