Compiz: Window decorator plugin sometimes fails

When I start up my computer (LMDE/MATE), Compiz is always started automatically, but sometimes the window decorations (title bar and window border) are missing. When I restart the window manager via the Compiz Fusion Icon, the window decorations are displayed ok. Does anybody know this problem and has an idea what can be done about it, so that gtk-window-decorator will be started reliably each time on start up?

In order to have Compiz started on every start up of my computer I added the command compiz --replace to the MATE start programs and also to the GNOME start programs. Via the Compiz Fusion Icon › Window manager I selected ›GTK Window Decorator‹ (the only available option anyway). At CompizConfig › Effects › Window decorator › Command is the command gtk-window-decorator --replace; Window decoration is activated.

Thanks.

I can confirm that I experience the same issue, the way I usally fixed it was by opening ccsm and deactivate and reactivate the window decoration plugin
