Installed mint 12 and using the mate desktop had awn running on it earlier and installed all my launchers since switching off and coming back awn wont run have removed and reinstalled it have all updates tried restarting everything I can think off and it just wont run no error messages nothing have tried right clicking and asking to launch everything i try wont start now and nothing has changed on my system since I started it earlier
any ideas

It works on Mint 13 if you try to install it without the recommended packages:

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get install avant-window-navigator --no-install-recommends
sudo apt-get install awn-settings

After that uou can install the plugins you want separately, so you can possibly spot what tries to push gnome dependencies.
