How does conky configs work?

Hi!
I just need a little help: How do you switch between conky configs?
For example:
-I downloaded Conky Lua Green flavour. but with grey wallpapers (linux mint 13 default) the letters are too bright and I can't see them. So, If I download the black flavour, how do I switch from green to black?
- If download a Conky Lua config and a Conky-Colors config. How do I alternate between them? (or any config that I install)

Thanks

I'll try to help. Most people with a custom conky theme have a file named .conkyrc in their home folder. You probably do too. I just rename my .conkyrc to conkyrc2 and rename the new one I want to use as the original .conkyrc. If a conky file is to my liking I also make a copy and save as text file somewhere. Yes, I screwed one up.

I'm pretty sure that each of those conkys will have its own conkyrc file. Add the '.' to the one you are using.
